Shipping policy


1. Dispatch Time

Orders are typically dispatched within 2-3 business days (Monday to Friday, excluding UK Bank Holidays). During peak seasonal periods, dispatch times may slightly increase.


2. Shipping Methods & Costs

We use Royal Mail Tracked services for all orders to ensure security and visibility.

  • UK Standard: Free (2-3 business days).
  • UK Next-Day: £6 (next business day delivery if ordered before 1pm).
  • Europe: 4-7 business days.
  • Rest of World: 7-8 business days.

Note: Delivery times are estimates provided by the carrier and are not guaranteed.


3. PO Box Deliveries

We deliver to PO Box addresses. Please ensure "PO Box" is clearly stated in the address fields at checkout. Taro's Wish is not responsible for delays or failed deliveries caused by missing PO Box identifiers.


4. Tracking Your Order

Once dispatched, a tracking number will be sent via email.

UK Tracking: You can track it on royal mail website. 

International Tracking: Once the parcel leaves the UK, it is handed to the destination country's local postal partner. You can track it on their official website (e.g., USPS for USA, La Poste for France) using the same tracking number for more detailed local updates.


5. Taxes & Duties

5.1 UK Orders

All prices shown on our website are inclusive of UK VAT at the prevailing rate. No additional taxes will be charged at checkout.

5.2 USA Orders (DDP)

We offer a Delivered Duty Paid (DDP) experience for our U.S. customers, meaning all import duties and taxes are already included in the price you pay. No additional fees are required upon delivery.

5.3 Other International Orders

The recipient is responsible for any local VAT, customs duties, or handling fees.

5.4 Refused Shipments

If a parcel is returned due to unpaid customs fees or refusal to accept delivery:

  • Original shipping costs are non-refundable.
  • A 20% restocking fee will be deducted from your refund.
  • If you wish to re-ship a returned parcel, please contact us. Re-shipping fees may apply.

6. Insurance & Risk

6.1 Standard Insurance

All orders include basic transit insurance provided by the carrier. For UK Tracked 48, this typically covers up to £75; for International Tracked, the standard cover is £50.

6.2 Liability Cap

Our liability for lost, stolen, or damaged parcels is strictly limited to the compensation amount successfully recovered from the carrier. Taro's Wish is not responsible for any value exceeding these standard limits unless additional insurance was purchased.

6.3 Risk of Loss

Risk passes to the Customer once the item is marked as "Delivered" by the carrier. We are not liable for theft, loss, or unauthorized removal of the parcel occurring after a successful delivery confirmation at the provided address. In such cases, the Customer is responsible for contacting the local carrier or local authorities to initiate an investigation.

6.4 High-Value Orders

If your order value exceeds the standard coverage (£75 UK / £50 International), we strongly recommend contacting ops@taros-wish.com prior to purchase to arrange additional full-value insurance.


7. First-Time Orders

To protect against fraud, first-time orders may be restricted to the Cardholder's Billing Address. If your shipping address differs, we may contact you for additional verification, which could delay dispatch.


8. Changing Your Shipping Address

Address changes must be requested via ops@taros-wish.com within 24 hours of ordering. We cannot guarantee changes once an order has entered the dispatch process. Requests must originate from the email address used to place the order.
